Zephyr Travels

as she walked from the building
crimson and pumpkin colored leaves
cascaded around her,
dancing and prancing their way
to the ground.

the sight made her giggle with delight
because she imagined that the leaves
loved the creativity and freedom
the fall offered,
especially after being tethered
to the trees since birth.

cruising to the ground,
they now had an opportunity
to vacation and see more of the world,
happily boarding the zephyr and
hurtling themselves into the unknown.
